American Academy of Pediatrics (AAFP)

This live activity, Primary Care Pediatrics, with a beginning date of 12/04/2019, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 18.25 prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Board of Pediatrics (ABPeds)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 18.25 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Risk Management

This activity meets the criteria of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine for 5.0 credits of Risk Management Study. This includes:

  • 2.00 Credits of Opioid Education and Pain Management Training
  • 1.00 Credits of End-of-Life Care Studies

This activity covers topics required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to be included in continuing professional development programs that physicians registered with the state's Medical Use of Marijuana Program must complete as a condition to issuing written certifications to qualifying patients.

All attendees of Primary Care Pediatrics will receive website access to course materials in advance to print materials on their own. You may also pre-purchase a printed copy of these materials at the time of registration for $45. Only limited copies of the printed syllabus will be available on site to purchase.

Who should attend?

The target audience is pediatric healthcare providers, the majority of whom are general pediatricians, family physicians, advanced practice registered nurses and other providers. We also welcome subspecialty pediatric physicians. Participants come from all over the United States and around the world to attend this program.
